A private, on-device personal finance tracker
FinTracker ("we", "the app") is a personal finance tracker that runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your data.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any personal data, financial data, or usage data from your installation of FinTracker. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter that transmits to us, and no telemetry of any kind.
All data you enter into FinTracker — accounts, transactions, budgets, loans, insurance policies, investments, contacts for dues, and similar records — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or back it up.
You may choose to back up your data to your own Google Drive or OneDrive account. When you do this, FinTracker authenticates with the cloud provider on your device using your account; the backup file is uploaded directly from your device to your cloud storage. We never receive, see, or store a copy.
You may set a master key. When set, backup files are encrypted on-device before being written or shared. We cannot decrypt your backups; if you lose the key, the backup cannot be recovered.
FinTracker does not connect to any bank, brokerage, lender, payment processor, or financial institution. We do not move money, initiate payments, or fetch data from third-party financial services. The app only knows what you type into it.
FinTracker is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any data from children — we do not collect data from anyone.
If we ever change how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change. The current data-handling stance is: nothing leaves your device unless you choose to export or back it up.
